For more than 40 years, WM Evans Painting has been painting and maintaining homes throughout Westport and Fairfield County, Connecticut.
Founded in 1981 by Bill Evans, WM Evans Painting began with a simple philosophy: do quality work, treat people fairly, and build relationships that last. What started as a local painting business grew largely through reputation and word of mouth, with generations of homeowners trusting Bill and his team with their homes.
Today, WM Evans Painting remains a family-owned and operated company while entering its next generation of leadership. Bill’s stepson, Eric Ureña, is helping lead the company’s continued growth while preserving the craftsmanship and personal service that have defined WM Evans Painting for more than four decades.

Bill Evans
Founder & President
Bill Evans is the founder of WM Evans Painting and has spent more than 40 years serving homeowners throughout Fairfield County. A longtime Westport resident, Bill built the company on quality craftsmanship, honesty, and relationships that last for generations. Outside of painting, he serves as President of Connecticut Quest for Peace, where he has dedicated decades to humanitarian and community work both locally and throughout Latin America.
Eric Ureña
Vice President
Eric Ureña is Vice President of WM Evans Painting and Bill Evans’ stepson, helping lead the next generation of the family business. Raised in Weston, Connecticut, Eric attended Weston public schools and has deep roots in the Fairfield County community. With a background in digital marketing and business development, he is focused on growing and modernizing WM Evans while carrying forward the craftsmanship and values Bill established over more than 40 years. Outside of painting, Eric is an entrepreneur with a passion for music, technology, and video games.
