Who is William Evans?
Painting & Philanthropy
After graduating from Fairfield College Preparatory School in 1973, Bill earned a BS in Chemical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. For more than 40 years, he has owned and operated the William Evans Painting Company, building a reputation for quality and integrity across Fairfield County.
Beyond his business, Bill is a tireless advocate for those in need. He serves as President of Connecticut Quest for Peace, a nonprofit that provides humanitarian aid to the poor of Nicaragua. His 8,000-square-foot company warehouse doubles as the organization’s storage center, often filled to capacity with donations bound for those in need.
In recognition of his decades of service and generosity, Fairfield Prep honored him in 2012 with the St. Ignatius of Loyola Alumni Award. As Bill puts it, “We give so much, but we get back much more.”
